Pakistan is increasing its nuclear weapons:US Joint Chiefs of Staff

Pakistan increasing nuclear warheads, warns US

Washington: The chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, has confirmed reports that Pakistan is increasing its nuclear weapons programme, but has provided no details. The confirmation came during a Senate Armed Services committee hearing Thursday when Democrat senator Jim Webb, an expert on defence issues, raised fears that Pakistan is adding to the nuclear weapons it traditionally has pointed toward India, and questioned whether US aid could be funding it.

Noting reports that Pakistan “may be actually adding on their weapon systems and warheads” Webb asked: “Do you have any evidence of that?” “Yes,” Mullen answered.

Webb said that is a cause for “enormous concern,” because with the Islamic militant threat, he said, Pakistan’s government is not very stable.

The US has urged Pakistan to focus on the Islamic extremist threat instead of India. But Mullen told senators that it’s still unclear that Pakistani leaders can shift their focus for a long period even as they slowly acknowledge that militants pose more of a security risk.

“Historically, they haven’t done that,” Mullen said. “So right now, I’m encouraged by what’s happened, but I certainly withhold any judgment about where it goes because of the historic lack of sustainment, and they know they need to do that.”

Also at the hearing, Admiral Mullen said it is not only Pakistan’s top leaders who need to recognise the militant threat.

He said Pakistan’s powerful intelligence service, the ISI, must also change its approach, and one key to that is convincing its leaders there will be a long-term US commitment to helping them defeat the Islamic militants.

“The ISI in the long run has to change its strategic thrust and get away from working both sides,” he said. “That’s how they have been raised, certainly over the last couple of decades, and that’s what they [are going to continue to] believe, until they think we’re going to be there for a while.”
Asked by Senator John McCain, Republican presidential opponent of Barack Obama, whether he still worried “about the ISI cooperating with Taliban?”, Mullen simply said: “Yes, sir.”

Several senators voiced doubts about sending millions of dollars to Pakistan without assurances it will be spent to fight extremists who threaten security and political stability both there and in Afghanistan.

Next year’s Pentagon budget includes $700 million to train and otherwise help Pakistan fight Islamic Terroists.

Pakistan ‘most dangerous country in the world’

Extremist attacks across nuclear-armed Pakistan in recent years have made it “the most dangerous country in the world,” Canada’s Defense Minister Peter MacKay said Monday.

“I’m extremely concerned,” MacKay told a press conference. “The instability in Pakistan in my view makes Pakistan the most dangerous country in the world.”

Around 12,000 to 15,000 Pakistan security forces are battling Islamist fighters in three northwest districts in what Islamabad says is a fight to eliminate militants — branded by Washington as the greatest terror threat to the West.

Extremist attacks have killed at least 1,800 people across Pakistan in less than two years and around Pakistani 2,000 soldiers have died in battles with Islamist militants since 2002.

MacKay said the Taliban’s recruiting and rearming in Pakistan is also harming NATO efforts to rout insurgents in neighboring Afghanistan, where Canada has deployed some 2,800 troops.

“As long as insurgency is allowed to foster and to incubate inside Pakistan, the problem remains very real, very difficult,” he said.

Jacqui Smith’s latest disaster: Banned U.S. shock jock never even tried to visit Britain – now he’s suing

A U.S. ‘shock jock’ DJ named among 16 extremists and fanatics banned from the UK has said he will sue Jacqui Smith for defamation.

Michael Savage, who has up to 10 million listeners, branded Home Secretary Jacqui Smith a ‘lunatic’ and a ‘witch’ after being named alongside hate preachers and a member of Hamas.

Last night lawyers suggested he had a strong case as he had not advocated violence, unlike others on the list. It was thought he could claim up to £200,000 in damages.

The presenter is furious at being put on the list of 22 hardliners banned from entering the UK because the Home Office claims they have fostered extremism or hatred.

He says he had not been planning to travel to Britain anyway and has now called on his millions of listeners to boycott the country.

Mr Savage added: ‘It’s interesting to me that here I am a talk show host, who does not advocate violence, who advocates patriotic traditional values – borders, language, culture – who is now on a list banned in England.

‘What does that say about the government of England? It says more about them than it says about me.’

The list has turned into another humiliating gaffe for the Home Secretary after officials were forced to admit not all the fanatics, like Mr Savage, wanted to come to the UK.

It has emerged their names were placed on it simply on the off-chance they may decide to visit.

At least two – teenage skinheads Artur Ryno and Pavel Skachevsky – have no chance of boarding a plane to Britain since they are currently serving ten years in a Russian jail for leading a gang which committed 20 racially-motivated murders.

Challenged to say how many on the banned list had been planning to visit Britain, a Home Office spokesman said today: ‘I do not have that information.’

Mr Savage declared: ‘I have been banned from Great Britain. I had not planned on going there, I had not been there in over 25 years.

‘When I woke up this morning I just thought I could not be true. The point is that today it is me, tomorrow it will be somebody else.’

Using his show The Savage Nation, which is broadcast on more than 350 U.S. radio stations, to attack the ban, he called Miss Smith a ‘witch’.

‘For her to link me up with skinheads who are killing people in Russia, to put me in league with mass murderers who kill Jews on buses, is defamation,’ he claimed.

‘I thought this was a joke or a mistake. How could they put Michael Savage in the same league with mass murderers when I have never avowed violence? As a result of this, I am going to sue.’

He added: ‘When has this witch heard my show, since it’s not syndicated in England?

‘Thank God we broke away from that cowardly country.’

‘That is exactly the kind of speech the founders of our country meant to protect with the First Amendment.

‘And it should send a cold chill through the heart of any man who loves freedom when he asks himself, “whose ideas and speech will be banned by government next”.’

Jameel Jaffer, an attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union, told the San Francisco Chronicle that the move showed countries were prepared to ‘use their borders as a weapon of censorship’.

‘While some of these people may express views that others find disagreeable, often the cure is worse than the disease,’ said Mr Jaffer. ‘It also deprives the citizens of that country of their ability to hear dissenting views.’

MIKE SAVAGE: ‘You know, when I see a woman walking around with a burqa, I see a Nazi.’
He has called the Koran ‘a book of hate’ and added that some Muslims, at least, ‘need deportation’.

Taliban taking over entire Pakistan: Hillary Clinton (Video)

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday the government had abdicated to the Taliban by agreeing to the Swat deal, adding the country now posed a “mortal threat” to the world.

The US must strip Pakistan of its nuclear weapons, destroy their nuclear laboratories and detain Dr. A.Q. Khan. $11-billion of US taxpayers’ money, since 9/11, and barely anything of significant value from that Dane Geld, so no likelihood of $5-billion more having an impact vis-à-vis Saudi Arabian billions to enable radical-Islamic activity in Pakistan. Zardari, et al, reckon on playing the US for fools. Hardly surprising when North Korea, Somali pirates and Iran proceed with impunity.

Without the $5-billion from the US, Pakistan is toast, and when the Taliban gain power in Pakistan, there will be no shortage of Pakistanis clamoring to gain access to the EU and the US. Which is partly why there will be 11 Pakistani students getting their UK student visas revoked, and returned to Pakistan.

Chief of Taliban has links with Pakistan’s Intelligence (ISI)

Baitullah Mehsud, the chief of Pakistani Taliban, who claimed credit for the recent deadly attack on a police academy near Lahore, has links with the country’s Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI), and insider inside the Pakistani Intel revels on the condition of anonymity.

Within days of the government’s announcement of the imposition of Islamic Sharia law in Swat, 125 km (80 miles) northwest of Islamabad, Taliban militants forced their way into nearby Buner, closer to the capital Islamabad. They said their aim was to push their harsh version of Islam across the country.

“Investors are scared about the Taliban issue and the fear of more violence,” said Tauseef Ladak, a dealer at Taurus Securities Ltd.

Residents said the Taliban had occupied police stations in Buner and that gun-totting fighters were roaming market places urging people to support their efforts to impose Islamic law.

Politicians who pushed the government to enforce Sharia law in Swat have even begun expressing worries about the growing clout of the Taliban.

“If the Taliban continue their advances at the current pace they will soon be knocking at the doors of Islamabad,” Fazl-ur-Rehman, head of the Jamiat-e-ulema-e-Islam, the country’s largest Islamic party, told parliament on Wednesday.

President Obama won’t meet Israeli PM Netanyahu

Has Obama started to revel his true colors or is he politically so naive for his series of anti-American policy blunders?? First he is praised Muslims in United states for changing the America for better, I ask which Muslim did what to change the face of America?? May be he is mentioning the 9/11 and the constant threat of a nuke attack our country is facing from the Muslim terrorist everyday. Then his bend over act before Saudi dictator, which makes everyone wonder how will he as the head of state dictate any US interests assertively when it comes to our relation with the Saudis and their Islamic extremist indoctrination of their own future generation and their spreading of evil Islamic teachings to the US by Islamic schools (Madrssas) in the US. Then came the reveling secret memos of our primary protector of the CIA, all this along with the latest that he will not meet with the leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, of a democratically elected and one of our best friends Israel

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday canceled his plans to attend the upcoming AIPAC summit, after it became clear that US President Barack Obama would not meet him during the conference.

Netanyahu announced that while he will not attend the conference in person, he will send a video-taped message to Washington.

Army Radio reported that the prime minister asked President Shimon Peres to represent Israel at the summit, scheduled to take place in Washington in the beginning of May.

According to the radio station, sources in the president’s bureau confirmed that Peres had received a request from Netanyahu and AIPAC officials to attend the summit, but noted that the president had not yet decided whether to accept the invitation. “

NOTE:

I may be criticizing Mr. Obama, my intention is to point to his mistakes rather than stand opposed to him as a person, I’m not saying Obama is perfect, don’t we all make mistakes what I’m saying is Obama is the best bet we have when compared to Rush Limbaugh or Sarah Palin or any republicans who do not represent the middle class or people other than the white race or people other than the christian religion, nor do they agree to freedom of peoples choices.

China executes Muslim pair for pre-Olympics attack

China executed two Islamic terrorists people Thursday for an attempt to sabotage the Beijing Olympics with an attack in the far-west region of Xinjiang that killed 17 police.

The Muslims Abdurahman Azat, 34, and Kurbanjan Hemit, 29, were found guilty of a “terrorist attack on a frontier city’s border police that left 17 dead.” The attack came despite tightened security ahead of the Summer Games last August.

Before the attack, they wrote a letter saying they had to wage Jihad or “holy war,” and their mission was more important than their lives and mothers. The attackers rammed a truck into dozens of police on a morning training run on Aug. 4 in the oasis city of Kashgar, following up their attack with explosives, a home-made gun and knives, state-run media reported at the time.

Execution ‘publicized’ at local stadium
The Kashgar court said the two men had “carried out the terrorist attack on Aug. 4 to sabotage the Beijing Olympic Games,”. Their execution was “publicized” at a meeting of some 4,000 officials and residents in a local stadium.

The Xinjiang regional governor, Nuer Baikeli, told reporters in Beijing last month that violence in Afghanistan and recent Islamic militant attacks in India and Pakistan showed his region had reason to fear Islamic militants.

How US is becoming weaker than China in an increasingly Islamic terrorist tolerant administration?

First of all the Chinese which  owns more than a trillion of US treasury bonds are our masters when it comes to dictating the terms in trade and foreign policy. The recent example was North Korean incident, where the Chinese had blocked any move from the US for harsher penalties for the Korean communist government.

Will China take over the mettle as the leader in the fight against Islamic terror too?

Now even in the war on terror, which we are fighting since the great tragedy of 9/11, China seems to be taking an upper hand. While we all love our new president Barack Obama very much and do very much want him to succeed not just for his sake but our sakes too, but some of his recent actions is I feel debatable.

May be closing of Guantanamo bay was done for humane reasons, but we have to understand it’s widely seen as a sign of weakness in the Muslim world. We do need separate jails and laws when dealing with International Islamic terrorists. But when they are put up with other common criminals who may have at least a slim chance to redeem himself and go back in to the civil society, would be badly influenced by these dangerous ideals of these Islamic terrorists.  If, god forbid, there happens to be another great Islamic attack on the US, then this present Obama administration would be at pains to explain to the American public why it happened and Cheney would look like an ignored god’s messenger.

We have to ask ourselves why the 9/11 attackers including the Pakistani mastermind Khalid Mohammed are still alive almost 8 years after 9/11, at the expense of the tax payer and why they deserve a an upgrade in their title “enemy combatant”. Why are they to deserve life when they took the lives of hundreds of innocent civilians? There lies the difference between China and the US, while China executed those Muslim terrorists publicly, sending a very strong message, don’t mess with us or else….our allowing these dangerous Muslim terrorists to rejoin peaceful societies is a huge mistake on our parts. There is more than a fat chance that they might commit such heinous crimes again and again, till maybe, keep our fingers crossed that, they land up in China and get executed.

Plot to Assassinate Obama in Turkey foiled

In a chilling revelation early this morning, a plot to assassinate President Barack Obama was foiled in the Islamic republic of Turkey. The details of the assassin are not yet known, or which Islamic terrorist group he belongs.

obama1

President Obama making his first overseas trip had encouraged Europe to include Turkey in to the European Union as a sigh of good will to the Muslim world. He had expressed a friendlier relation between the US and Turkey than it were in the past. He is said to have ruffled some feathers when he said US was going to recognise the Armenian genocide.
